Capacity

The Capacity view tracks team availability — PTO and holidays per team member — so your sprint or iteration plan reflects who's actually around.

Team members

Each member’s row shows their availability across the sprint (Scrum) or iteration (Kanban). Gray cells mark days off — PTO or holidays.

PTO management

Click a day cell to toggle PTO. For Scrum teams, PTO days are excluded from capacity calculations; for all teams it gives the team visibility into who’s available when.

Holidays

Holidays show with a special indicator and apply to every team member. Configure them once in Organization Settings and they flow into every team’s capacity.

How capacity is calculated

For Scrum teams:

Available capacity = (Team members × Sprint days) − (Total PTO days) − (Holiday days × Team size)

That figure is what the planning and forecasting views lean on when they reason about how much the team can realistically take on.
